I have a question, if you are a paying customer of AOL's ~ WHAT these days are you exactly paying for??? Damned if I know ~ I have a question (or 2 or 3 or 4) for any of you out there that read this thing...
1.) Where do I put my graphics now? Who do I store them with where it is pretty easy to figure out how to work the blasted thing?
2.) What is a good place to start a new journal where I can use my graphics freely and easily?
I am aware of Blogspot etc. any other ideas? or are the majority of you going to Blogspot? I want where I go to be able to reflect "me" ~ I think you are aware of how very much I love my graphics ~ to some of you, you could care less LOL. To me, graphics are art...
Well, needless to say I will be checking into everyone's journals (BUT just in case if you leave a comment? please leave your new journal addy for me? IF you have one already?) to see what's going on... I don't want to lose anyone...this is really sad and kind of scary... I realize some of you are saying "everything in life changes etc. etc. I for one am not one for change... it overwhelms me (as any of you who have read me the panic issues are bad with this kind of thing). I'm sure a lot of you out there are overwhelmed.... (that sounds like I have hundreds of readers when I know I don't) let me know how you are dealing with this? Please? it would mean a lot to me.

(((Teresa))), I've had a day to process all this and am still so unsure of myself. I think the majority of J-Land is going to Blogger(Blogspot) Go there and check out what all you can do, check out the Magic Smoke entries, and visit everyone's aol journal, link to their new journal, start a favorites folder to store all the new addys. (Listen to me, giving out advice, ;p) It might help to set up a google acct/addy.
I really think we'll get it all worked out in the days ahead. As for your graphics, contact someone else who does them to find out how they're storing them. The one you made me is still in e-mail, as I didn't have Aol9. I'd rather have it in my new journal anyways.
If you can't find answers to your questions, let me know. I'll be scouring the web for mine.

I love your graphic!!! May I borrow, it so fits this week's current events. I'm going with Blogger, will keep you posted as to when things will be officially up and running; but LiveJournal and Xanga are pretty nice too. There is also yahoo360, and msn has something, msn space or whatever, of course there's always MySpace where people use graphics in mass quantities...I hope that helped.

its the best out there! you can upload your graphics and it saves them to a photo album for you! you can change your appearances as many times as you want and its so easy to use!

Hi darlin' Oh I had a really bad day yesterday. Want to see upset?! I had an account a man I worked for set up for me. FREE. Oly I wanted to be sure to always have my journal. Don't htink you know me then, but in December people voted on what my NEW S/N should be, hence SunnyBethe and the name of my journal, Palm Harbor. I had to swtich ALL my files, and folders. Ugh!
Anyway...I dodn't have a blogger acount yet. But have experimented with it on a test blog. You have options for colors and I've even seen Blogger sites with very very nice Wiccan "Skins". You can use Photo Bucket for Animated things or Flicker (uck!) Or you can use HTML to change fonts, and background/colors. Looks OK, but I totally agree with you. How much money does it take to run AOL Jouranls. We didn't need a frigin' chat room. If we wanted a chat room we make one our selves. So there went a whole bunch of $$ out the window. It was pretty piss poor anyway. Opps, "potty mouth'. I get that way when PO'd. Anyhoo will let you know ehn I get an addy. hugsss
