Peace, is it too much to ask for?

Peace

Is it too much to ask for?
Something I ask myself at least once every day of my life.
What about you?

"Imagine"
by John Lennon

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one.

Exquisite video and graphics.  Makes me terribly sad, I've to been witness to some 3 of 4) of the greatest advocators of peace of all time & all were assinated. 60 yrs after Ghandi died, 45 yrs after MLK and JFK, and 28 yrs after John Lennon died we at still at war.  War begets War.  If we promote peace, we would beget peace... "Lead by example".  You've done a great job here Teresa.  hugs,  Bethe

I remember once a long time ago when my daughter was first born, (24 years ago) I had a bought a book that you fill out during your daughters life and give it to her on her wedding day (I'm still putting stuff in it!) and one of the questions was "what was the one thing your grandmother wanted more than anything" so I went and asked my mom to fill that part out.  She wrote "peace".  I thought, at the time that that was the oddest answer, but I sure do understand it now.  Amazing how a few years (ok so more than a few) can change your opinions.  Linda
